Four NDFB(S) militants were arrested in an operation by security forces in Assam's Sonitpur district today.
Acting on information about the presence of NDFB(S) militants in Maldang area, a joint team of police and troops of 36 Assam Rifles launched an operation in the area and caught four militants, Sonitpur Superintendent of Police Sanjukta Parashar said.
The militants were trained in Myanmar.
An AK-56 rifle, four magazines, 37 rounds of live ammunition, two hand grenades and three mobile phones were seized from the militants, Parasar said.
