Four of a family killed in mishap on Yamuna Expressway

Four persons, including two women, were today killed while seven others injured when their car collided with a divider on Yamuna Expressway in Baldeo area here, police said.
The incident occurred near Gadhi Sahiram village when their car rammed into a divider in the wee hours today, SP (Rural) Ajay Kumar said.
Suman (24) and Savitri (55) were killed on the spot while Aman (28) and Vishal died on the way to hospital, he said, adding that locals saved the injured and rushed them to Medical College Agra.
The locals lashed out at Expressway police for reaching late on the spot.
Eleven of the family were on a pilgrimage to Mainpuri from New Delhi, he said.
Prima Facie it appears that Aman dozed off while driving the car and it rammed into the divider, he said.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem, he said.
A case has been registered in this regard, the SP said, adding that the condition of other injured is stated to be out of danger.
