Four college students from Patna were detained today at Bengaluru International Airport here for allegedly possessing fake identity cards, police said.
The students were about to board a flight to Patna when Central Industrial Security Force sleuths detained them after they were found carrying fake identity cards, they said.
The four were later handed over to the airport police for interrogation.
"The questioning is still on. We have not arrested the students yet," a police official said.
Police have refused to divulge the students' names.
