Police have recovered ten stolen motorcycles from the possession of the four accused, identified as Karan Singh, Deepak, Sachin and Kuldeep, all residents of Ghaziabad and aged between 25 and 30 years.
"We got information that four vehicle-lifters were coming towards Jal Nigam Crossing in Vijay Nagar area last night. Police laid a trap and arrested all of them. They have confessed to their involvement in a number of vehicle-theft cases," a senior police officer said.
Police had been looking for them for a long time, the officer said, adding that the accused used to steal motorbikes from Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad and sell them by removing their number plates in different cities.
