Four women killed, ten injured in road accident

Four women were killed and ten others injured today when a mini-van in which they were travelling collided with a lorry, about 20 km from here, police said.
The mini-van was carrying 15 people who were returning to Perambalur, about 150 km from here, after offering prayers at a shrine at Tittakudi in Cuddalore district, they said.
The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Perambalur and Cuddalore, police said, adding that one person escaped unhurt.
The van driver was among the injured.
