Four youths killed as truck overturns

Four youths were today killed when a truck overturned on them near Pipraula in Kant area here, police said.
The incident occurred this morning after the driver lost control over the truck which overturned and fell on Satendra (18) and Sandeep (17) who were on a bike, killing them immediately.
Two pedestrians Pradeep (18) and Arti (20) were also killed on the spot after they came under the truck, they said, adding all the four deceased were local residents.
Enraged by the incident, the locals staged a road blockade in the area.
Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.

Police have registered an FIR under relevant sections and a search has been initiated to nab the absconding driver.
