Fr Edward Hugh McGrath dead

Fr Edward Hugh McGrath (94), one of the founding fathers of XLRI, has died in Jamshedpur.
An XLRI statement issued in Kolkata said that that Fr McGrath died on August 4 at the residence of a friend.
He had been suffering from medical problems recently.
Fr McGarth had been a director of the premier institution from 1959-1962 and 1981-1982 and helped to put XLRI on the map of the country's finest business schools.
The funeral service for Fr McGarth was held at 10 am today at St Joseph's Cathedral, Golmuri, and he was buried at Jesu Bhavan at Mango in the steel city.
