Curt Cobain's daughter Frances Bean has slammed Lana Del Rey for her controversial interview where she romanticised about dying young like Nirvana frontman and Amy Winehouse.
Del Rey has since slammed the reporter for being persistent but Frances, whose father died when he was 27, feels the singer should not romanticise 'the club 27' about a group of young musicians who died when they were 27, reported People magazine.
"The death of young musicians isn't something to romanticise. I'll never know my father because he died young, and it becomes a desirable feat because people like you think it's 'cool'," Frances said.
"Well, it's... Not. Embrace life, because you only get one life. The people you mentioned wasted that life. Don't be one of those people. You're too talented to waste it away."
After a less-than-civil reaction from Del Rey fans on Twitter, Frances, 21, clarified, "I'm not attacking anyone. I have no animosity towards Lana. I was just trying to put things in perspective from personal experience.
