Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot directed officials to execute this announcement which was made during the budget from August 15 this year.
Under the scheme, 87 types of generic veterinary drugs would be made available at poly-clinics and district level veterinary hospitals, 75 types of drugs at Tehsil level hospitals whereas Gram Panchayat level sub-centers will have 35 kinds of drugs with an estimated overall cost of Rs 60 crore, according to an official.
In a meeting held last night, Gehlot reviewed the progress of programmes and schemes run by the animal husbandry department and directed officials to ensure successful delivery and time-bound implementation of the scheme.
