Freight rates remain flat as truckers end 2-day token strike

Freight rates for the nine-tonne payload section held steady at the local truck transport market in the national capital today after truckers' 2-day token strike ended yesterday.
Transporters said restricted cargo movements against ample trucks position, mainly kept freight rates steady.
The 2-day token strike by truckers concluded yesterday with transporters body AIMTC threatening more action again after Diwali if the issues raised by it are not resolved.
