Transporters said besides increased cargo movements, tight availability of trucks led to the rise in freight rates for select destinations.
Freight rates from Delhi to Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Jaipur were up by Rs 500 each to Rs 15,500, Rs 16,500 and Rs 14,500, respectively.
