Transporters said busy cargo movements against tight availability of trucks mainly pushed up freight rates.
Delhi to Pondicherry, Goa and Guwahati freight rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 66,000, Rs 50,000 and Rs 51,000, respectively.
Rates to Kochi, Bangalore and Pune also went up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 73,000, Rs 63,000 and Rs 27,000, respectively.
Elsewhere, other centres' freight rates maintained overnight levels on some support.
