Freight rates for nine-tonne pay load section for select destinations rose by Rs 1,000 at the local truck transport market in the national capital today following pick-up in cargo movements.
Transporters said, the rise in freight rates for select destinations was mostly attributed to increased cargo movements.
Delhi to Hyderabad, Goa and Patna freight rates moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 58,000, Rs 62,000 and Rs 29,000, respectively.
Rates to Kochi, Vijayawada and Guwahati also moved up by Rs 1,000 each to Rs 76,000, Rs 60,000 and Rs 61,000, respectively.
