Transporters said besides increased cargo movements, tight availability of trucks mainly led to the rise in freight rates for select destinations.
Freight rates from Delhi to Jaipur, Chandigarh and Gwalior were up by Rs 500 each to Rs 17,000, Rs 18,000 and Rs 15,000, respectively.
