French court charges Abdeslam over Paris attacks: lawyer

Top Paris attacks suspect Salah Abdeslam was charged today with murder, association with a terrorist group and possession of weapons and explosives, his lawyer said.
Abdeslam, who was transferred to France from Belgium earlier Wednesday, will have another hearing over his role in the November 13 attacks on May 20, lawyer Frank Berton told reporters, adding that his client would be held in preventive custody at a prison near the French capital.
