French team lauds Theni hospital

The Government Medical College and Hospital here has come in for praise from a team of doctors and medicos from France for its 'good maintenance'.
The 22-member team was on its way to nearby Thekkady when they sought permission to visit the hospital, officials said.
Marcao, the leader of the team, said he was impressed that very good facilities were available even in a rural area like Theni.
The team members said they had come to India to visit various places.
