The accused tourist Gavarian Gerlach Ninon had checked into the guest house on January 24 and left the hotel on February 20 without informing guest house officials.
She also took some valuables from the guest house and left without paying her bills, SHO, Ashok Nagar police station, Balaram said.
The FIR against the tourist was registered yesterday under sections 420 (cheating) and 406 (criminal breach of trust) of IPC, he said, adding the matter was under investigation.
