Kalpa and Keylong in tribal areas received 6.5 cm and 6.0 cm of snow while key tourist resort of Manali had 6 cm of fresh snow while high mountain passes of Rohtang and Kunzam had 10 to 15 cm of fresh snow.
Shimla and adjoining resorts of Kufri, Fagu and Narkanda had traces of snow but strong velocity icy winds swept the region and sky remained heavily overcast.
Keylong recorded minimum temperature at minus 5.6 degrees, while Kalpa and Manali recorded a low of minus 2.0 degrees and minus 1.1 degrees, followed by Shimla 3.5 degrees, Solan 4.6 degrees, Dharamsala 6.6 degrees, Palampur 7.0 degrees, Bhuntar 8.0 degrees, Sundernagar 9.5 degrees, Nahan 10. 3 degrees and Una 11.4 degrees Celsius.
