Both Justice Anand and Justice Sarup died on December 1.
Speaking on the occasion, Acting Chief Justice Sanjay Karol said that Justice Adarsh Sein Anand was a great jurist and eminent scholar, who was elevated as the Additional Judge of High Court of Jammu and Kashmir at the age of 39 years.
He rendered many landmark judgments in the field of gender equality and human rights.
Justice Anand was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian award in India in 2008 for his contribution to the society.
