Finance Minister Parminder Singh Dhindsa said the orders have been issued in pursuance of the directions given by Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal.
The electronic system would save the time, besides bringing accountability and transparency in financial management, he said.
All the departments have been asked to strictly implement it by October 31, 2012 and also get the bank account number and other relevant information of the beneficiaries so that funds are given through the new e-payment system.
As a result of this system, beneficiaries would get financial assistance on the same day.
