Earlier, in the doubles final, top seeds Nedunchezhian and Vijay Sunder Prasanth dropped the first set narrowly to beat fourth seeds Markos Kalovelonis of Russia and Timur Khabibulin from Kazakhstan 4-6 6-3 10-4 to lift the coveted doubles title.
In the singles semifinal, Nedunchezhyian lost the tie break first set at 6-7 (3) but found his rhythm in the next two sets to win the match at 6-7(3) 6-3 6-3.
This statistics shows how effective Prajnesh's serve was right throughout the match. Kaza on the other hand was under pressure from the start. Prajnesh started the match breaking Sharma and 3-1 before finally closing out the set at 6-2 with a ace.

In the other semi-final, Neduchezhiyan started in a sluggish manner as a highly motivated Sidharth Rawat broke Jeevan in the third game and kept up the tempo to win the tie break. However, in the next two sets, Nedunchezhian played in a positive manner in winning the match.
