Congress leader Digvijay Singh today said that Gajendra Chauhan should quit as FTII Chairman, claiming that his appointment was part of a RSS plan to "impose" its cadres on government aided organisations.
"Appointment of Gajendra Chauhan as Chairman FTII is such example. Urge Gajendra Chauhan to resign. Nepotism and Favouritism above Merit," Singh said on microblogging site Twitter.
"RSS which claims to be only a Cultural Organisation wants to impose its Cadre and Ideologues on different Govt and Govt aided Organisations (sic)," he said in a tweet.
