The police has seized stake money of around Rs 1.51 lakh, 20 mobile phones, 14 packets of playing cards and six vehicles.
On January 30, around 12:30 am, the police was informed about gambling taking place at a house in the Safdarjung Enclave area.
The police said around 1:15 am, a trap was laid and a decoy customer was sent to the place. It was found that there were 15 to 20 people, including some women, present on the third floor of the building, they said.
Romil Baaniya, Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), said a raid was conducted and the accused attempted to escape from the spot.

During interrogation, it was revealed that one person, Sumit, a resident of R K Puram was the kingpin of the syndicate.
He had rented the accommodation at Rs 6,000 per day and the house owner had arranged for the cook and the servant.
Sumit is a habitual gambler. The persons who were known to him or his friends were are only allowed access to the premises, police said.
Further interrogation revealed that one Surender, a resident of Karawal Nagar, had hired the premises from the landlord Dharmender who further sublet it to Sumit.
Further investigation is in progress to probe the role of Surender.
