Initial investigation has revealed that the two gangs were in a dispute over some money matters which led to the murder of Sheeshpal, a resident Mangolpuri, police said today.
Police has managed to arrest two men who had allegedly attacked Sheeshpal from southeast Delhi today while a manhunt is on to nab the other accused.
"The incident took place last night when Sheeshpal had come to meet his associate in Nabi Karim area last night. As he was waiting for his aide to arrive, a group of three-four persons attacked him with knives and sticks. He fought with them and even injured one of them with a brick, but was eventually outnumbered. Attackers stabbed him several times before fleeing," a senior police official said.
Police registered a case of murder and several teams were tasked to nab the accused persons.

During investigation it was found that Sheeshpal was facing several cases of theft, robbery and snatching in the city and was head of a gang. His gang had some dispute with other robbers operating in central and north Delhi.
Through intelligence, police identified two members Dharmedra alias Sultan and Suresh alias Sunny, who were involved in the attack at Sheeshpal. They were arrested from southeast Delhi's Ambedkar Nagar here today.
