Police said the gang kidnapped her when she was standing in front of her house at pethaniapuram last night and later kept her in a house at Sellur.
Meanwhile herR grandparents lodged a complaint with olice. The gang felt that Sellur was not safe and tried to shift her to some other locality when she raised an alarm. Locals surrounded the area, forcing them to flee with the imitation jewellery, police said.
