The police was granted permission for the identification parade by the Sub-Divisional Chief Judicial Magistrate Pijush Ghosh after the 13 accused including 'morol' (community chief) Balai Murdy were produced in court.
Government lawyer, Phiroj Pal said, "police prayed for a TI parade of the accused before the girl. The court granted the prayer. The TI parade will be held as early as possible."
The 13 accused who were remanded to police custody for 13 days on January 24 were sent by the court during the day to judicial custody till February 20.
The 20-year-old tribal girl was gang-raped on the orders of the kangaroo court at Subolpur village on January 21 when she expressed her inability to pay a fine of Rs 25,000 for falling in love with a man from another community.
The man Khalek Sheik was also fined Rs 25,000. His brother Dipu Seth had paid the fine and had taken him away.
