Gang supplying weapons to criminals busted

With the arrest of two persons, police today claimed to have busted a gang involved in supplying of country made weapons to criminals operating in the area here.
Police have recovered 7 illicit pistols of different bores, 27 cartridges and a white car.
Kingpin of the gang has been identified as Mukesh Yadav, who is already lodged in the central jail Ludhiana, police said, adding weapons were supplied on his instructions.
Sukesh Yadav, younger brother of the kingpin and Manjit Kumar were arrested. They all belonged to Bihar, police said.
During the preliminary investigations they have told the police that weapons were brought from Bihar.

Further investigations were in progress.
