Confirming this, state youth affairs minister Arup Biswas told PTI, "Ganguly spent about 30 minutes discussing his school venture. This was the former India captain's third visit to the chief minister."
Earlier, the Supreme Court had quashed the allotment of around 63 kothas of land to Ganguly by the Left Front government at Salt Lake's CA Block.
In a setback to Ganguly, the Supreme court in May, 2011 had quashed the allotment of land measuring 63.4 kothas to him by the West Bengal Government in 2000.
The present government in September, last year, however, approved the proposal of handing over an alternative plot measuring two acres to Ganguly for setting up the higher secondary school at the action area one at New Town/Rajarhat.
