Garment export unit gutted; no casualities

: A garment export unit has been gutted in a fire at Mudaliarpet area today, but there were no casualities, police said.
None of the 300 employees were present in the unit as the blaze broke out early this morning, police and fire service personnel said
Fire service personnel brought the blaze under control at around 11 AM.
The exact cause of the fire and quantum of losses was yet to be ascertained, they said.
