Realty firm Gaurs group today said it is entering the hospitality business with three projects comprising over 200 rooms in Ghaziabad and Greater Noida with an investment of about Rs 65 crore.
The company will develop a 40-room hotel in Ghaziabad and two hotels in Greater Noida West (commonly known as Noida Extension) comprising 170 rooms.
"Ghaziabad and Greater Noida West lack good hospitality properties. So we are entering into this new venture with three projects," Gaurs Group MD Manoj Gaur said.
The 40-room property in Ghaziabad would come up at Gaur Central Mall with an investment of Rs 15 crore, he added.
In Noida Extension, the company would develop a 70-room property for Rs 30 crore and another 100-room hotel at an investment of Rs 20 crore, Gaur said, adding that these business hotels would be of 4-star category.
Gaurs group is developing a 240-acre township 'Gaur City' in Greater Noida (West). About 25,000 housing units are being developed in this township at an investment of Rs 5,000 crore. It is also developing a shopping mall in this city with Rs 750 crore investment.

Ghaziabad-based Gaurs group is developing another township on Yamuna Expressway on 300 acre land which it purchased from Jaypee Group in 2013 for over Rs 1,500 crore.
Besides real estate, Gaurs group had forayed into education sector in 2014 and opened 'Gaurs International School' in its township in Greater Noida (West) with an investment of about Rs 80 crore.
In January this year, the company said it will invest Rs 150 crore in its education business as it plans to open two schools and one institution for higher studies in Uttar Pradesh.
