Gaya hottest place in Bihar at 40.7 degree Celsius

Gentle wind in the morning took away some heat in Bihar but the weather continued to remain hot during the day today.
Gaya was the hottest place in the state with maximum temperature of 40.7 degree Celsius and minimum temperature of 22.2 degree Celsius.
Capital Patna witnessed maximum temperature of 33.5 degree Celsius while minimum temperature was 22.6 degree Celsius, Met office bulletin said.
In Bhagalpur the maximum temperature was 31.8 degree Celsius while minimum temperature was 21 degree Celsius.
But, condition was better in Purnea where maximum temperature was 26 degree Celsius and minimum of 20.5 degree Celsius.
The state Weather office forecast partly cloudy sky in Patna and Gaya tomorrow.

In Bhagalpur and Purnea there is possibility of rain or thundershower of dust storm tomorrow.
