Airports Authority of India (AAI) today appointed Keku Bomi Gazder as the CEO of its air cargo and logistics subsidiary.
Gazder is an industry veteran and has experience of over 27 years across the Middle East, South Asia and the Indian sub continent region.
AAI Cargo and Logistics Allied Services Company Ltd (AAICLASC) was launched last year and is projected to rake in an annual turnover of Rs 380 crore in two years.
The subsidiary was set up after AAI demerged its existing cargo division to create an administratively independent organisation.
Gazder's primary focus will be on air cargo handling services, ground handling services and security services. He will also explore strategic partnerships at airports within and outside the country, according to a statement issued by AAI.
