"I heard from GCA people that they are not going to let it go as it's their turn to host a Test after Karnataka State CA's as per the rotation system. GCA is full of people who are connected with BJP and they are not willing to let this golden opportunity slip out of their hands," said a top source in the Mumbai Cricket Association.

BCCI's programmes and fixtures committee is yet to meet after the Board's AGM to finalise the venues for the series involving two Test matches and three ODIs.
The Test matches are scheduled from November 6-10 and 14-18 and the ODI dates are fixed for November 21, 24 and 27.
