The Hurriyat hawk has asked parents to avoid sending their wards to these schools which the army has opened across the Kashmir valley to improve the education standard, especially in the rural areas.
A large number of local students are enrolled in these schools.
"For petty material gains, we are losing our next generation. The institutions run by army are making our children indifferent towards their religion and specific culture," Geelani said in a statement here.
"For the betterment of our youngsters, instead do seek admission in other institutions of your choice, run by prominent and well-known organization," he added.
