The 26-year-old actress starred alongside Olga Kurylenko in the last Bond outing, reported Metro online.
"As long as I'm a girl when I'm 78 as well, I will be very chuffed about that. I have always seen it as such an honour," she said.
"Skyfall" is the 23rd film of the James Bond series. The film stars Daniel Craig, Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Judi Dench while Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe will play Bond girls in the film.
Arterton also said that this year, being the 50th anniversary of the movie franchise, the two actresses may very well have the most enviable roles in the franchise's history.
