The company had posted a PAT of Rs 12.99 crore in the year-ago period.
However, the company's consolidated income fell by 8% to Rs 62.02 crore from Rs 67.75 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

During the quarter, the company's Assets under Custody and Management crossed Rs 15,000 crore mark for the first time.
Commenting on the results, Managing Director of Geojit BNP Paribas, C J George, said the improvement in market volumes, increase in software export revenue and tight control of costs during the third quarter helped increase the profit. During this quarter, the company added 10,000 new customers, he said.
