Addressing a pack audience of students from German School as well as PASCH schools and Kendriya Vidyalayas from the national capital, Steiner was of the view that the programme, 'Kids' Corner', will link both the countries and reduce the knowledge gap.
"Germany and India are partners since ages. However, we till don't know enough about each other. We need to close this knowledge gap. The kids'corner virtually brings Germany on your mind with texts and topics for the young," Steiner said.
Terming it as a "true Indo-German project", the ambassador said, "It is a programme where you decide where to click, what to play, what to discover."
The kids' corner has been designed by the German Embassy in collaboration with Max Mueller Bhavan. Some of the texts are written by Indian students. The illustrations have been done by Priya Kuriyan, a Delhi based artist and designer.
