'Germanicus' wins main event at Hyd winter races

Less fancied 'Germanicus' trained by Vishal Gaikwad and ably ridden by Jockey A Sandesh won the 2,400 metres the Golconda Derby Stakes (Gr.I), the blue riband of the 26th day Hyderabad winter races held here today.
Two first favourites obliged in a card of 10 events.
