35 people, including former BSP MLA Vijay Kumar, were named in the FIR, while 300 unidentified people were booked at Jangipur police station in connection with the attack and arson at Hansrajpur police outpost yesterday.
However, no arrest has been made so far, police said.
A local youth Ghanshyam was allegedly picked up by police for questioning on April 26 and was set free later in the night in "serious condition".
Later, locals gathered at the police station with the body of youth. Demanding action against those responsible for Ghanshyam's death, locals started pelting stones at the outpost, set afire a hut and jeep of Dullapur SHO inside its premises.
