"There is no justification for these killings. It is unfair and against humanity to kill person for his specific ideology or affiliations," Geelani said in a statement here.
Dar, an advocate by profession, was killed yesterday by unidentified militants in Pulwama town of south Kashmir.
He was the third political activist killed in south Kashmir in a week.
On April 16, militants shot dead a former public prosecutor, affiliated with opposition National Conference, in Shopian district and PDP worker Bashir Ahmad Dar at Rajpora village of Pulwama, a day earlier.
