class-VI girl student allegedly committed suicide here, police said today.
The incident was reported from south-east Delhi's Dakshinpuri area yesterday and the deceased has been identified as 12-year-old Parnika.
Her body was spotted at around 6 PM by the landlord, who informed police. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead.
Her parents were not at home when she allegedly took her life by hanging herself from a ceiling fan in her house.
No suicide note has been found, police said, adding that her parents had told investigators that she was keeping unwell for a long time.
