"The incident took place when the girl, Lovely Gurjar, started vomiting in the bus on her way to St Mary School. The cleaner took her on his lap near a window so that she could vomit outside," City Kotwali Police Station in-charge, Jitendra Nagaich said.
"When the driver suddenly applied brakes, the girl as well as the cleaner fell outside. While she was crushed under the wheels of the same vehicle, the cleaner survived the accident," he said.
The bus has been seized and hunt is on to nab the absconding accused, he said, adding investigation is underway.
