Girl killed, three others injured as car hits them

A six year old girl was killed and three other children were injured when a speeding car hit them in Balmiki basti of Masuri town while they were going to school, police said today.
Superintendent of police Rakesh Pandey said that four children Divya (5), Geeta (5), Bholu (6) and Beboo (3) were going to school this morning when a speeding hit them.
They all were rushed to the nearby private hospital where Divya was pronounced dead by the attending doctors.
The driver of the car Vijendra fled the spot, the police said adding an FIR has been registered against him at masuri police station.
