The incident happened last night, they said.
An FIR lodged by the girl at Rabupura Police Station said her neighbour Ravi forcibly took her to a field and raped her.
He threatened to kill her if she reported the matter to police, the FIR said.
Police said Ravi had been arrested and the girl sent for medical examination.
