The incident took place on Tuesday when the girl was working in a field and Sukhdev Singh, about 28, allegedly raped her, they said.
Hearing her screams, villagers rushed to the spot and found her writhing in pain, police said.
An FIR was registered in this connection yesterday and police have arrested the accused.
