allegedly teased by four youths when she was returning home with her mother at Barasat in North 24-Parganas district, the police said today.
Sources said that the student of class-XI was teased and her mother beaten by the youths at Bijoynagar last night when she was returning home with her.
The 17-year-old girl lodged a complaint with Barasat police station and the youths were arrested, the police said.
The girl slapped a boy among the group when he passed lewd comments to her and went to lodge the complaint with the police.
A local court remanded the youths to 14 days jail custody.
