Challenging AAP and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to produce the letter purportedly written by Girri, Delhi BJP President Satish Upadhyay said, "On behalf of Maheish Girri, I am saying he will resign if he wrote any letter."
Attacking Kejriwal over his "silence" over the death of party leader Santosh Koli and Rajasthan farmer Gajendra Chauhan, Upadhyay demanded Delhi Police expedite its investigation into suicide by the farmer in presence of AAP leaders including Kejriwal at Jantar Mantar in April last year.
Delhi BJP also raised several questions over the alleged Rs 400 crore Delhi Jal Board tanker "scam" being probed by the Anti Corruption Branch, demanding Kejriwal's "arrest".
"I had earlier demanded Kejriwal's resignation. Now I demand Delhi Police arrest Kejriwal for an impartial probe into the tanker scam," the BJP leader said.
He asked why the government "sat over" the fact-finding committee report on the "scam" for "11 months" and allegedly continued payments to the company concerned for "17 months".
