"Though 57 departments were agreed to be put under GTA administration by August this year, 36 are still to be transferred to GTA. The administration is also yet to receive the committed funding of Rs 200 crore," Chetry said.
In addition the state government was yet to withdraw the cases pending against GJM leader as demanded by the party, he said.
"We have always remained very friendly to present state government. The government must clarify its position on GTA immediately. Otherwise, we will be forced to scrap the GTA agreement and go for bigger movement," Chetry warned.
Reacting to the issue raised by Chetry, North Bengal Development minister Goutam Dev said that "transferring departments is a long process and the government must be given adequate time for it."
