The Kings XI Punjab player, who has created quite a stir in cricketing world, today teed off at Oxford Golf and country club and produced 350 yard drives. Two-time European tour winner SSP Chowrasia was another highlight of the tournament.
In a close contest, teams from Oxford Group and Infosys emerged winners on the first day of Pune regional round to enter the National final of the World Corporate Golf Challenge to be played at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club, Kuala Lumpur in May in Malaysia.
Charanjeet Bedi (36 points, handicap 9) and Aditya Pusalkar (points 31, handicap 10) of Infosys, winners of last year's Pune leg, returned as runners-up with 67 points for coveted spot in the National Finals.
Two more spots in the national finals are up for grabs as the competition is expected to heat up on Day two.

In the National finals, these two teams will match their skills with 8 other teams from Bengaluru and Noida for the opportunity to represent India at the World Finals to be held at the Oitavos Dunes Golf Course in Cascais, Portugal in July.
With support from TAKE Solutions since 2005, the tournament has established itself as a platform for corporate golfers to showcase their skills and compete with the best golfers from India and around the world.
This is the third & final qualifier of the 10th edition while the first regional qualifier was held at Eagleton Golf Course, Bengaluru in March. The second regional qualifer took place at Jaypee Greens Golf Club, Noida last week.
