The 54-year-old star is said to be joining 'Livin' La Vida Loca' hitmaker Ricky Martin for an episode in January. Martin will play a Spanish teacher with a love for music, reported Contactmusic.
There are rumours that the Cuban singer will play the role of teenager Santana's mother, and Estefan herself hinted at the news after this week's 'Glee' aired.
"Did anyone see Glee last night? Santana could really use a sympathetic mommy right about now, don't you think?," she posted on Twitter.
